Scottish Children’s Lottery Trust funding will help families struggling financially

A huge thank you to Scottish Children's Lottery Trust for awarding Children First £3,500 to help families struggling to make ends meet to afford essentials their children need.

Every day, our national support line provides practical, financial and emotional support to parents and carers across Scotland. 

Our expert team offers compassionate help to parents and carers on a wide range of issues, including financial worries, mental health, family relationships and their children's wellbeing.   

Simon McGowan, Assistant Director at Children First said: "We are so grateful to Scottish Children's Lottery Trust for their generous support. At Children First, we hear every day from families across Scotland who are feeling real financial pressure and having to make difficult choices between heating and eating.  

"This funding will ease some of that stress for families and when they talk to us, we can also offer support with any other challenges they are facing. We know that early support can make a lasting difference and help give children and families a brighter future.”
