Worried about a child? Our support line and local services are here for you
Today’s generation are facing unprecedented challenges. From mental health, money worries and online harm, to struggles at school, our support line can offer emotional, practical and financial support to any family in Scotland. There is no such thing as a perfect family and whatever challenges you are facing, we can help, and we won’t judge.
Children do well when families do well. Our local services help children and families in homes, schools and local communities to support the whole family, whenever they need it. We prevent families reaching crisis point, keep children safe, and help them recover from trauma and harm.
We all need to look out for children who may be at risk or experiencing abuse or neglect. Children can’t protect themselves and they need our help to stay safe. If you have concerns about a child’s wellbeing it can be difficult to know what to do. Our support line will listen and help you work through what’s best for the child.
If you think a child is in immediate danger, you should contact the police by ringing 999.
Our priority is to protect the child and help families get the support they need.
We’re here for all Scotland’s children, and we’re here for you.
