Support Line Contract Coordinator

Children First, Scotland’s national children’s charity, is seeking to appoint a Support Line Contract Coordinator. By joining our team, you will fulfil a vital role in supporting colleagues in helping us stand up for children, keep them safe and support them to recover from trauma and abuse through our national support line.
The Role
Based in Edinburgh, the role involves offering expert care, guidance and support for our Support Line colleagues. Delivering high quality support to enable the functioning of our support line helps us in our goal of reaching more families and providing the vital support they need.
You will be required to support the recording and reporting of our work across three databases. Provide support for a large team including volunteers, reporting and monitoring and ensuring maintain accurate records that inform the charity and support with service development and meeting our organisational strategy.
Today’s generation are facing unprecedented challenges. From mental health, money worries and online harm, to struggles at school, our support line can offer emotional, practical and financial support to any family in Scotland. We also offer advice to anyone who is concerned about a child’s wellbeing.
Taking a child-centred approach, you will work to ensure the safety of children and young people by protecting and promoting their rights.
What we are looking for
You will possess a relevant qualification or proven administrative experience.
Excellent administrative, It and financial skills to support the work of Children First Support Line and Assistant Director.
Ability to research, request and collate data/information and responses on behalf of Assistant Directors and the Service.
Able to manage and maintain diaries, coordinating meetings/events.
Demonstrate a commitment to our vision and purpose.
Able to work well with competing demands.

With a supportive and inclusive working environment, the salary for this role is £30,002 - £35,076 per annum.
