Marketing Officer - Kinship Care
Do you want to create a brighter future for kinship care families in Scotland?
Children First, Scotland’s national children’s charity, is seeking to appoint a marketing officer to support us in the delivery of the Kinship Care Support Service for Scotland.
By joining our team, you will help us make sure that kinship families have all the support they need to keep their children safe, support them to recover from traumatic experiences and to celebrate the very special role that kinship carers play in children’s lives.
The role is an exciting opportunity to grow engagement with our national support line and raise awareness of the ways we can help kinship carers, locally and nationally.
You will play a key role in shaping a multi-channel marketing strategy for the kinship care support service including social media, newsletters and events and execute this. Development of the website and organising events and webinars to support kinship care families and professionals will be your top priority. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to shape and grow Scotland’s Kinship Care Week celebrations to make these a truly national event.
We would expect the successful candidate to be an experienced marketing professional with a least two years’ experience in a similar role.
As well as a rewarding career and development opportunities, we offer 40 days annual leave per year, a contributory pension scheme, generous maternity/adoption and paternity leave, flexible working opportunities and wellbeing support. You’ll be part of a supportive and inclusive working environment, with a generous salary of between £30,002 - £35,076 (pro-rata).
Living our values, you will make a direct impact on the lives of children across Scotland. With love, we put children first. With purpose, we transform children’s lives together. With strength, we do whatever it takes to protect Scotland’s children.
We believe all children should have hopes, dreams and opportunities. For children in kinship care, life can be amazing but it can also bring significant extra challenges. Do you have what it takes to join our team and help kinship care children to enjoy a safer, happier, brighter future? We would love to hear from you.
