Be the Welcoming Face of a Children's Charity
Children First’s ambition is for every child in Scotland to be safe, loved and well with their family. As a charity we offer emotional, practical, and financial support to help families to put children first and campaign to uphold the rights of every child.
This is a key role in ensuring our building runs smoothly and that every person who visits or contacts us receives a professional, friendly welcome. If you have excellent people skills, experience with office reception and facilitating events, have excellent administration skills and enjoy being part of a small, hard-working team – we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming visitors and providing a helpful, positive first impression
- Managing calls, emails, post, and deliveries
- Supporting the booking of rooms, meetings, and refreshments
- Keeping shared spaces tidy, safe, and ready for use
- Ordering supplies and assisting with general office support
- Pitching in with admin tasks to help our teams deliver their best
What kind of people are we looking for?
- A friendly, confident communicator who enjoys helping others
- Someone who stays calm, organised, and flexible in a busy environment
- A team player with basic IT skills and a willingness to learn
- Previous reception or admin experience is a plus, but not essential

You will be based in Edinburgh.
